Projektbeschreibung

Fragestellung(en) a) Effectiveness in clinical practice (“real world”), b) Benefits and needs on the patients’ side, c) Effectiveness in a long-term course over years, d) Optimal maintenance dosages, e) Safety and side-effects profile under routine conditions, f) Use in case of and effect on co-morbidity, g) Reliable predictors of response, h) Benefit and effectiveness of possible combination therapies or alternating use of biologics and systemic therapies
Hintergrund / Ziele Long-term documentation of psoriasis therapy with biologics and systemic drugs in Germany to enable clarification of the following questions:, a. How effective is the treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis with biologics and with conventional systemic therapeutics under everyday conditions?, b. What benefits and what supply needs can be noted from the patients’ point of view? , c. How does effectiveness vary long-term over a period of years? What types of therapy withdrawals or changes are necessary?, d. What are the optimal maintenance dosages?, e. What are the long-term safety and side-effects profiles of biologics and systemic therapeutics?, f. How can the medications be used in the case of co-morbidity and what effect do they have thereon?, g. Can predictors of “response” be found in the long-term course?, h. What are the benefits and effectiveness of possible combination therapies or alternating application of biologics and systemic therapies?
